Wenvoe Petanque Club is sad to announce that Tony Jellings passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 10th August 2022, after a short stay in the University Hospital of Wales.
Tony joined Wenvoe PC in 2008 and regularly played in the Club’s League teams and several open and National competitions.
Tony played a huge part in the organisation and support of the Club’s hosting of the 2010 Celtic Challenge. The Club would not have been able to organise such a successful event without Tony’s amazing fund-raising efforts. Tony also played in the competition.
Tony had recently celebrated his 80th birthday.
Details of Tony’s funeral arrangements will be added when they are finalised.
The Club’s thoughts and sympathies are with Janice, Samantha, Victoria and all their family at this difficult time.
