Dear Members,

I am posting this to prevent any Chinese whispers.

After a great deal of thought, I have taken the decision to resign from my position as Director of Public Relations for the WPA. My main reason for stepping down is that I don’t feel able to commit the time and dedication to the role that it requires.

I have enjoyed my short time on the Exec. and hope I have contributed something positive to the WPA. I leave with the backing of the Exec. and have agreed to assist in any way I can with increasing the profile of Pétanque in Wales in a positive way and hopefully growing our membership.

I discussed this at length with Bob Pugh earlier today and I have his full support.

I would like to thank the Exec. and members for the support I have received during my time in this role.
