Welsh Petanque Association

For the second time in the history of the sport of petanque being played in Wales, a Welsh Ladies squad will take part in this years World Championships organised by the FIPJP.

This year the competition is to be held in Antalya, Turkey between 17th and 19th October, the official website can be accessed by following this link.

The following members of the Association will represent Wales at the World Championship:

	Gay Evans, Wenvoe Petanque Club.		Barbara Vaughan, Caerleon RFC Petanque Club.
	Jean-Yves Robic, Vice President, Head of Delegation.		Tony Smith, National Coach.

 

The ladies squad representing Wales in 2011, have previously taken part in the 2009 World Championships in Thailand and the 2010 European Championships held in Slovenia.
