NC: Precision Shooting Championship – Rounds 3 & 4.

Sunday 11th, September, saw the final rounds of the Precision Shooting National Championship.

A third round took place with all the players taking part. This final score was added to the scores obtained in Rounds 1 and 2. Unfortunately, the player lying in the 7th position was exited from the next round.

The final round consisted of the semi-final and final, where players took it in turn against their opponent.

The first semi-final saw two members of the SWPRC – PS playing against each other for a place in the final. Len Field managed to slowly draw ahead of Ken Agius but increased the gap in the final discipline, where he removed the jack from the circle to get 5 points taking his score to 19 points.

The second semi-final was between Kon Tomczyk (Caerleon RFC PC) and Sean Smith (Monkstone PC) this encounter was very close, and either player could have won a place in the final, but Kon Tomczyk managed to steal the place. 

The final was close to the end of the third discipline, where both players had the same points, but in the latter stages, Len Field pulled away and took the title with a total of 25 points.
