This page will provide you with all the current information related to the forthcoming AGM on Tuesday, 5th April 2022 at the Monkstone Petanque Club.
The following Nomination has been received for the position of Director of Public Relations (1-year mandate) from Gareth Spencer who is a member of the SWBRC Petanque Section.
The position of National Secretary (2-year mandate) is still vacant. Properly completed Nominations Forms can be accepted immediately before the start of the EGM.
Please consider standing for the position to allow the WPA to operate properly. Under the WPA Constitution, the position needs to be filled. Not having a full Executive may impact our ability to undertake their duties.
The EGM cannot proceed unless 20 members, or more, representing at least five registered clubs are present within half an hour of the notified time of commencement of the EGM. If the EGM does not proceed nominated positions can not be elected.
Please attend the meeting.

Nominations are sought for the following:
National Secretary (2-year mandate) and Director of Public Relations (1-year mandate).
These positions are required to be filled to comply with the WPA’s Constitution and Rules, not having elected members in these positions means that the current elected members are acting outside their remit and putting the future of the WPA into serious doubt.
