I am writing this hoping some of our more senior members of the association can assist in helping put together a history of the Celtic Challenge.

Jim Ryan from the Irish Petanque Association put together a short review from its conception in 1989 to 2007. Still, it is time to pull something more tangential together before all the early history is lost.

To that end, I am asking if anyone can assist me with the following programs in order to complete one part of the task. I am missing the following:

2015 – Ireland: Frankfield PC, Cork

2006 – Ireland: ALSAA Sports Club, Dublin

2004 – Wales: Brecon RFC PC, Brecon

2003 – Ireland: Pickie Bowling Club, Bangor

2002 – Scotland: Stirling

2001 – Wales: Panteg House, Griffithstown, Pontypool

1999 – Scotland: Drymen

1998 – Wales: Brecon RFC PC, Brecon

1997 – Ireland: Seeconnell, County Down (Castlewellan)

1995 – Wales: Monkstone Inn, Cardiff

1994 – Ireland: Frankfield, Cork

1993 – Scotland: The Anchorage, Troon

1992 – Wales: The Blue Boar, Brecon

1990 – Scotland: Birds and Bees, Stirling

1989 – Wales: Cardiff
