Playing Calendar
All WPA events are closed to non-WPA members. Players seeking to qualify for Wales must be full members of the WPA and meet any other criteria set by the WPA.
Venues for all the events still need to be confirmed. These will be added as we confirm them. If your club is interested in hosting any of the published competitions, please contact an Executive Member.

Rules of Play:
- The Official Rules of the Sport of Pétanque
- Games will be timed
- Lanes will be allocated
Number of Teams: 16
Play Begins: 10h00 – latest
Competition Format: Rounds 1, 8, and 15 from a 16-team round-robin format.
Matches will be timed for one hour plus two ends.
Lunch (45 minutes duration) after Round 3.
Teams 1 to 8 will compete in a quarter-final for a place in the semi-finals and final of the Presidents Cup.
Teams 9 to 16 will play in a quarter-final for a place in the semi-finals and final of the Plate.
The competition entry fee is paid by debit/credit card only.
